DOWNLOAD OFFICIAL COPY OF YOUR AMATEUR HAM RADIO LICENSE FROM THE FCC WEBSITE
If you need to obtain a copy of your ham radio license and don’t want to pay and wait for the FCC to send you a copy, you can easily download it from the FCC website. The process is quick and simple, and also allows you to update and maintain your license with ease.
Step 1: Log into the FCC website license manager, by going here https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsEntry/licManager/login.jsp?key=
Step 2: You’ll need to know your FRN. This is a unique number assigned to you by the FCC. If you don’t know your FRN, click here to set one up : https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/cores/CoresHome.html
On the next page click on Register and Receive your FRN
Step 3; Now that you have your FRN setup, you can log into your license portal. Go here to log in: https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsEntry/licManager/login.jsp?key=
Step 4: Once logged in, click on Download Electronic Authorizations, located on the left side menu.
Step 5: Now you will be presented with the radio licenses you have. Highlight the license you wish to download, and click ADD to move it to the Authorization to Download column, and click Download at the bottom right of the page.
Congratulations, you’ve just setup your FCC license manager portal and downloaded your official copy of your amateur radio license.
